Registering for the short film competition

Registration for the Palme-Dewar 2009 short film competition is now open.

Key dates:

31 July 2009 Entrants need to register their intention to submit a film by 31 August 2009. 30 September 2009 Deadline for submitting films for the competition October 2009 The jury views the films and compiles a shortlist of 6 films for presentation at the film festival 7 November 2009 Film festival event: audience viewing of the shortlisted films and a vote to select the winner

There is a £5 registration fee per film. Payment can be made either by cheque (return by post to address on registration form) or via Paypal (complete registration form and return by e-mail and we will send you a money request).

The jury:

Shortlisted films will be selected by a jury made up of:

Peter Guthrie, Dewar’s World of Whisky
John Durnin, Artistic Director of Pitlochry Festival Theatre
Norman McCandlish, BAFTA member and former television producer
Ruth Atkinson, Local artist and member of the Heartland Film Society
